Regretfully John Finn Music formally announce that, owing to a complete lack of synergy with Frankie Connolly Band in regards to tour arrangements for 2020, I am forthwith suspending all activities relating to the Frankie Connolly Band for the foreseeable future.
All dates organised or discussed through me for 2020 are hereby cancelled.
This is an unfortunate but unavoidable decision, and no one will be more disappointed than me for having to forfeit such a potentially exciting project.
However, I don’t want to leave any outstanding gig commitments in doubt so I’m pulling 2020 Spring dates now in order to give timely notice to clubs and promoters so that they have ample opportunity to make alternative arrangements.
I am very sorry about the current situation and apologies for any inconvenience. I sincerely hope it will not adversely affect or jeopardise any future discussions with you with regard to negotiations on behalf of any of the other artists on my roster.
As regards to John Finn Music’s future business relationship with Frankie Connolly, the door is always open. But for the present, Frankie needs to deal with his own demons. The music business is an unforgiving environment for someone who, although of such undeniable talent, has a weakness for his own personal indulgences. However, I remain hopeful that, once the current situation has been resolved, John Finn Music will embark on a brand new project involving Frankie, but away from his current sphere of influence.
