Working out of Nashville, Bedford (UK), Northampton (UK), Birmingham (UK), all our artists are bone fide artisans in their respective fields. If it's blues, roots, rock, soul or Americana that you're after, we provide a mouth-watering selection. Why settle for anything less?
Kara Grainger
Without doubt one of the leading female blues slide guitarists anywhere, Kara Grainger wows audiences around the world with her sassy vocals and blinding slide work. With her slide-guitar virtuosity and sultry soulful vocals, comparisons between Kara Grainger and the likes of the great Bonnie Raitt, or Susan Tedeschi, are inevitable.
After moving to the USA, Australian-born Grainger has been constantly touring, both nationally and internationally. Her record of international tours is impressive. She's travelled to India and Indonesia several times to perform, and Japan. In Europe, she's performed at the Sierre Blues Festival, Blues Alive Festival, Beautiful Swamp Festival, and Lucerne, as well as touring in Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Spain, Ireland, and U.K.
Grainger currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
Charlie Wood Organ Trio
If you prefer your blues with a stronger jazz leaning, we have an indisputable master of the genre. Charlie Wood Organ Trio is the archetypal Hammond-centric jazz/blues trio, whose playing is full of passion and drive, with Wood teasing unbelievable tones from his vintage Hammond keyboard.
Memphis-born Wood toured the US and Europe as keyboard player for blues guitarist Albert King. He later returned to his hometown and establishing a residency on the city’s historic Beale Street, during which time Wood performed with a wide range of musicians including B.B. King, Georgie Fame, Joey DeFrancesco, George Coleman, Mulgrew Miller and Alvin Batiste.
One of the rising stars on the U.K. blues scene, Mat Day is taking the country by storm with his unbelievable fretboard dexterity and sizzling guitar solos. Since releasing The Mat Day Band's debut EP, Mat has become a much-in-demand sideman for numerous U.K. acts, including Greg Coulson, Alice Armstrong, Billy Lockett, The Blockheads, as well as numerous collaborations with Zac Schultz.
Gardner’s parents relocated to New Zealand when he was a child. He returned to the U.K. in 2005, and began performing and recording. Nine original tunes plus two covers make up his latest album, “Big Road Blues” - his third release in the UK and fourth album overall.

Premier Player Award for Keyboards and the Beale St. Merchants’ Association Entertainer of the Year award. In October 2014, Wood became the 136th recipient of a Brass Note on Memphis’s Beale Street.
Wood currently resides in the U.K. and is married to renowned jazz singer Jacqui Dankworth, daughter of acclaimed British jazz singer and Grammy award winner, the late Dame Cleo Laine.

The Paul Garner Band
British-born Paul Garner is an outstanding blues guitarist and song writer. Paul’s music is primarily drawn from a rich vein of blues from the 50s & 60s, particularly the British blues innovators, such as Eric Clapton and Peter Green. Rather than trying to mimic those classic blues standards, Gardner prefers to reimagines them in a new and creative way. And not content with this, he also takes songs from other musical genres, and transmutes them into blues in ways not done before. Where else would you hear an old Jim Reeves country tune redressed as a rhythm ‘n’ blues standard, or the reworking of Dylan’s “Lay Lady Lay” into a slow blues number.
Gardner’s parents relocated to New Zealand when he was a child. He returned to the U.K. in 2005, and began performing and recording. Nine original tunes plus two covers make up his latest album, “Big Road Blues” - his third release in the UK and fourth album overall.
If you’re looking for authentic rhythm ‘n’ blues with a good dose of originality and a classic British flavour, Paul’s your man.
